Sending You The Luck of The Irish

Top o’ the Morning to you from Autumn Rose, The Spirit of Ireland!

There are many mythological creatures and beings that appear in Celtic tradition including fairies, leprechauns, giants, banshees and selkies. According to Wikipedia, “The Tuatha Dé Danann are a race of supernaturally-gifted people in Irish mythology. They are thought to represent the main deities of pre-Christian Gaelic Ireland. Many of the Irish tales of the Tuatha Dé Danann refer to these beings as fairies, though in more ancient times they were regarded as goddesses and gods.” One of my favourite book series takes place in Dublin and involves the search for the book of the Tuatha Dé Danaan.

This new release from Faery Ink is one of the most gorgeous Irish fairy images I have seen! I coloured her up with various shades of green and some gold and gave her some flaming red hair too! Isn’t she just stunning?!

Don’t forget to pop over to the Faery Ink Facebook Group and check out all the other gorgeous releases this month too!
