Are you into Sweet or Spooky or Sweetly Spooky?
How is life treating you? Or maybe I should ask – how are YOU treating life? =) I have been keeping life pretty busy with the big move and getting the kids into their new schools here in Ohio. It’s all been pretty exciting but with the move I was not able to pre-plan these blog posts so I apologize that I am incredibly late getting to everything! This past week in particular has been so crazy. I am afraid of checking my email lol (but that’s next on my to do list!)
Before I go on about the new digis added today, a little reminder about our weekly giveaway! Comment on this post and any other post that starts with “New Digital Stamps” to win free digi’s from next month’s releases! Learn more about the New Release Weekly Giveaway here.
Our winners for this week will be announced at the bottom of the post!!! So read on to see our designers’ gorgeous makes from this week’s releases and to find out if you’re a winner =)
Ghost of Lenore
DT Amy did such a gorgeous job with this. I don’t even know if I would call it craft at this point – it is totally a work of art! She used blues and other pastels to make this ghost truly ghostly.. I love all the purple and bling everywhere =)
Here is my coloring of Ghost of Lenore.. I was bummed that when I finally had time to sit down and color her (I was wanting to for-ev-er now) the Frost Blue (E00) that I was planning to use for the overall tone of the image was dripping everywhere. I’m already late so I didn’t have time to wait until it dried out but I think in the end this came out pretty cool too. She’s not quite ghostly but she might pass for a zombie lol A well preserved zombie but… ;)
Don’t you love the fun colors DT Samantha used in creating this super girly, floral themed card using Destiny Lollipop? That hair, the bow.. So gorgeous =D The little pearls and the sheer white ribbon really add sophistication to the card too. I love it.
DT Julie took this card over-the-top with all the extras! The sentiment, the 3-D (Julie is queen of the 3D effects!), the flowers and polka dots. I love the color scheme. This would make an amazing Valentine’s gift for a friend, or a birthday card for a teen girl. Gorgeous!
Our winner of this week’s digis is….
