Kristina’s Inspiration – Gabbie Spring Blessings Digital Image

Hello to all the Faery Inkers!

Time to share with you one of Faery Ink’s gorgeous new release images. She is gorgeous, with long wavy hair and the most gorgeous big eyes – meet Gabbie Spring Blessings! If fairies are your thing then this is one for you – and as always Faery Ink always delivers the most gorgeous fairy images that are a joy to colour. Here in Australia we are heading to our hottest part of Summer – we regularly are hitting 40 degrees Celsius (104 Fahrenheit), but in the northern hemisphere you will all be looking forward to the end of winter and looking for those first glimpses of spring, the blossom, the tulips, the first sprinkling of green leave on the trees, and that is what Gabbie is bringing with her – the beauty and bounty of spring.

If you haven’t yet seen all the fantastic February releases make sure you head over to the Faery Ink Shop to scoop up some new fab images to colour up!

I have coloured Gabbie with Copic Markers, and did my best to match it with the patterned paper that I picked out. and what better way to reflect spring than to add a few flowers to my card. I also added a sprinkle of Frantage around my image to add a bit of interest. This image comes with the banner either blank or with the words “Spring Blessings” – so that you can wither use the pre-printed one or add your own sentiment. My favourite part of this image is definitely the eyes – I tend to lean towards green eyes in many of my images that I colour, however I changed it up a bit and went for a more luminous green and as soon a I coloured her eyes she came alive!

For those interested – the copics that I used were:

Skin – E000, E00, E21, E11, E04, R20

Hair – Y32, YR23, YR24, E99. E29

Leaves and Eyes – YG00, YG25, YG67, YG99

Clothes and lips – R81, R83, R85, R89

Wings – E51, RV10, YG11, YG03

Thanks for stopping by and having a look around Faery Ink today!
