Faery Ink will no longer be sponsoring challenges on a regular basis.
It’s gotten to be a lot of drama on top of the time required to keep up with everything. I’ve had several prize winners contact me to tell me they’ve won but the challenge organizer is ignoring their requests and I’ve had a couple people contact me about shady practices within the challenge blog community. To me this is sad and disappointing. However, it is just the case that sometimes a few rotten apples can indeed, ruin the whole bushel.
That said, I have friends in the challenge blog community and it was a challenge blog that really introduced Faery Ink to a broader audience so you may find Faery Ink prizes available for special occasions involving these people and their blogs. But otherwise I no longer wish to participate. I would rather spend that time creating fun things for you to do that will not require relying on people I don’t really know to make sure that everyone is treated fairly.
All that said, I will be honoring the commitments I made to the challenges already posted on the calendar below. If your challenge is not on this calendar I am not going to be able to sponsor for you, I’m sorry.
Some things to note for those who I am scheduled to sponsor for:
I try to give the weekends to my family. So please do not contact me on the weekends expecting digis or a reply.
If you need a blurb for your challenge blog please use this rather than my about page:
“Daydreamer, faery believer, dandelion wisher, bookworm, eccentric artsy, witchy type. I draw pretty girls with wings and things so you can bring them to life with color… I live for my family & for making pretties. I love to make stuff, draw, paint, cook, read, play guitar, bargain hunt, and play World of Warcraft. I’m an introverted bookworm, animal lover and fantasy fangirl. I’ve been designing for the web since 1998 and creating digital stamps since 2013.”
**I will no longer be sending any digis out until the most recent link logo (below) linked to http://www.faeryink.com is added to the blog. My time is just as valuable as yours, so if you don’t have time to update – I don’t have time to email you digis.**
