You Are So Awesome!

First I wanted to say in just two weeks you guys have already raised $50 towards saving the sea turtles =) Yay! Thank you so much for buying this digi and helping to help our oceans. It means a lot to me and the sea turtles too. If you haven’t yet, pop over and grab yourself a lovely sea turtle goddess to color and help One World One Ocean keep our marine life safe and our oceans healthy…

Thank you to all who participated in the coloring challenge…

You all did so amazing a job <3 I let choose our winner which is none other than the super talented Aurora Marco.

I just love all the texture she created in this mixed media piece. Beautiful work Aurora! Please email me at manda(AT) with the mailing address you would like me to send your original art magnet to, and don’t forget to choose 3 digis from the shop as well. Feel free to download this badge for your blog if you wish =)

And how about a little Thrifty Thursday haul?

Guys, I hit the smashbooking jackpot the other day… I went to the Mighty Dollar with my mother and sister last week and left with enough smashbooking supplies to last me till my rising 6th grader starts college 😉 And I spent all of $30 since everything at Mighty Dollar is only $1.

Thrifty Thursday Mighty Dollar

These paper pads kill me. 32 sheets of 6″x6″ patterned paper for $1, when I know I bought the same pad (same brand, same size, and same number of sheets, just different designs) at Michaels craft store for something like $6 a pad.. These are great for smashing, making cards and for backing your ATCs.

Skull notecards, journaling sheets for smashbooking, memo pads and mini cards and envelopes (I love pasting these into my smash pages). All $1 a piece. When I first got into smashbooking, I paid $3 a pop for the brand name journaling tablets so these were a steal.

More ephemera for smashbooking and other paper craftsy stuff including double sided mounting tape in three different sizes.

My family is a sci-fi family and these robot stamps are too cute! Yes, a whole sheet of clear stamps for $1. Each of these paper punches were $1 each as well.

I thought I would share in case you have a Mighty Dollar in your area. You might even want to Google it to be sure. Mine is kind of hidden away in a shopping center not far off from our one mall. Lots of goodies to be had and you don’t have to dip into your grocery money too much to feed your smashing/crafting/cardmaking addiction 😉

Oh and you know whenever I post a Thrifty Thursday I like to give my thrifty friends a little discount so from today until May 14th enjoy 10% off your purchases here at Faery Ink with coupon code:

Have a great day ya’ll and don’t forget to check back tomorrow for our new releases =)
